Iran: Clashes in Tehran University

NCRI – Tehran University students’ dormitory was the scene of brutal clashes in early hours of Wednesday when suppressive forces attacked students. This took place as anti-government student demonstrations and sit-ins continued.

Students chanted, "death to Ahmadinejad," "death to dictator," "death to reactionaries" and "we want no nuclear bombs."

Some 3,000 students took part in protests and about 70 students were reported wounded and at least 15 are missing. According to eye witnesses over 40 Bassij paramilitary forces were also wounded.
