Iran: Blinding a young man as punishment for offence committed when 17

NCRI – Mullahs’ judiciary in Shiraz issued a barbaric sentence to blind the eye of a young man for allegedly committing an offence when 17. He has been in prison for the past two and half year according to state-run dailies Tuesday.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations, especially the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, to condemn this inhuman sentence and prevent its implementation.
