Iran: Another group of five prisoners hanged in Shiraz on January 14

The public relations of the Iranian regime’s judiciary in the southern city of Shiraz announced that a group of five prisoners have been hanged on Tuesday, 14 January 2014, in Adel-Abad prison.

Ali Alghasi, the prosecutor general of the Fars province stated that: “In the current year the sentences for many drug smugglers have been carried out and the execution of sentences for other drug smugglers are planned in the province,” the state-run news agency Fars reported.

The wave of barbaric executions has continued in the New Year in Iran.

A shocking report that has recently leaked out of Adelabad Prison in Shiraz by the inmates disclosed unceasing clandestine executions in this dreaded torture center.

The report reads in part: “Here, they kill men like sheep… here at Adelabad of Shiraz there is not an iota of justice!… This is the most dreaded prison of the century. Here, you cannot find any sunshine, light, joy or laughter. This is a graveyard. Everything here has a damp smell of wretchedness and villainy. This is Adelabad, where there is not an iota of justice!”
