NCRI – According to the reports, a Sunni prisoner was transferred to the hospital outside of the prison due to heart attack and he was harassed by the prison guards who were accompanying him. The Sunni prisoner, Suleiman Pirouti was tied up to the hospital bed while he could not talk or walk.

The prison guards were showing this prisoner to all people in the hospital claiming that he is a member of ISIS. They also asked people to enter his room and harass him. However, the prisoner could not even speak or move due to the heart attack.

A number of regime’s agents started spitting on the prisoner. They finally returned him to his ward on 23rd November at 10 PM although he was suffering from a serious condition after the heart attack.

Having heard of Suleiman Pirouti’s situation, the Sunni prisoners of Gohardasht (Rajaishahr) prison lodged a protest demanding the punishment for the agents.

Suleiman Pirouti was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment about 25 months ago and he is serving his time in Gohardasht prison. He is a married man with three children.

This Sunni prisoner had a heart attack for the first time in August 2016 and he is currently in a very poor physical condition.
