Iran: A man hanged in Kerman

NCRI- A man was hanged in public in in the town of Kahnouj, in  southern province of Kerman, the state-run Kayhan daily reported on Saturday. The report did not identify the man.

The mullahs’ regime has stepped up public and group hangings since the beginning of so-called beefing up "public security plan" introduced in April.

The total number of executions in Iran reported by media in 2007 is over 270 which is well beyond the total number reported throughout 2006. Many of the death sentences were carried out in public.
