Iran: 3 more execution sentences

NCRI – The clerical regime issued death warrants for 3 prisoners in Hamedan, Western Iran, according to state-run daily Kayhan.

The three were only identified by their first names, Mohammad-Reza, Manouchehr T. and Safar-Ali V. 

Details on their cases were not available. In the past Iranian year (March 2005 to March 2006) at least 123 death sentences were issued by the clerical authorities in Iran while some 182 death sentences were reported to have been carried out in the same period.
