Iran: 12 teenagers on death row for crimes committed when under 18

NCRI – 12 teenagers have been sentenced to death for crimes committed when they were under 18, Etemad state-run daily, August 27, 2007, reported. Mohammad Mostafai, the attorney for these teenagers objected their sentences and wrote, "Death sentences should not be issued for individuals who had committed crimes when they were under 18."

The 12 youths on death row identified by their first names and the age they committed the crimes are as follows:
