NCRI – The Iranian regime has imposed harsh restrictions on Iranian athletes and delegations to Germany during the World Cup matches.
A source within the regime said that one of the coaches accompanying the Iranian athletes to the World Cup described the sports compound as "a refugee camp."
He said: "The authorities tell people where to go and where to avoid and some of the people are confined to their hotels. We are kept in dark about what is going on outside our compound. They only tell us on the day of the games that we have a match to play. The hotel we are living in is located on the suburbs."
Reports also indicate that Iranian security forces have banned the players from giving any press interviews.
