NCRI – The state-owned Mehr news agency revealed that 610,631 people were arrested and imprisoned during last year alone. The news agency said that according to mullahs’ judiciary officials, the rate of which the judiciary is taking up different cases is on rise.
Fars added that this figure indicated a 1.7 percent rise in detentions compared to previous year.
