Detained Students are under Severe Psychological and Physical Torture

NCRI – Based on reports from Evin prison, the detained Polytechnic students are currently under severe physical and psychological tortures. In order to prevent them from communicating with each other, the regime keeps them in solitary confinement.

On Tuesday, Amir Kabir newsletter published by Polytechnic University students reported that the regime’s security officers are applying the harshest forms of physical and psychological tortures to the 8 arrested students in order to force them to confess. The interrogating team is headed by Haddad who is the security deputy of Saeed Mortazavi.
The statement said: On Monday we have been notified of disturbing news about enormous pressure and torture tactics being applied to the 8 detained Polytechnic students. The news come from a credible source and specifies: after the arrest and transfer of Ali Saberi and Abbas Hakimzadeh to Tehran, the security officers in section 209 of Evin prison have started relentless torture of the detained students.
