Death toll rise in northwestern Iran provinces’ unrests

NCRI – According to latest reports from Naghadeh, northwest Iran, the number of people killed during recent days’ uprisings has reached 15. The reports put the number of wounded at about one hundred with dozens in critical conditions.

Following the escalation of riots in Azeri speaking northerwestern provinces, the tyrannical regime has appointed "Supreme Supervisory Delegation" consisting of the most senior security and intelligence officials such as former ministers of intelligence, interior, the Islamic Guidance and a number of hardline MPs and the director of the state run television.

Its task is to find ways to further suppress and crackdown on popular uprisings and protests in the Azeri speaking provinces.
