Hassan Nasrallah meets Khamenei in secret visit to Iran

NCRI – The leader of Lebanese Hezbollah has traveled secretly to Iran two weeks ago and met with Iranian regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Hassan Nasrallah has met with the Quds Force Commander Qassem Suleimani to discuss the Lebanese and Syrian situation.

According to the Central News Agency in Lebanon reported on Saturday Nasrallah held talks with senior officials of Iranian regime in Tehran, where he met with Khamenei.

However the Kuwaiti al-Rai newspaper reported Nasrallah the officials included Quds Force Commander Qassem Suleimani.

The news of the meeting comes as the Syrian opposition has called on Hezbollah to withdraw its forces from the Syria immediately.

The Syrian activists has said troops of Assad’s regime supported by gunmen linked to Hassan Nasrallah’s group battled the Free Syrian Army on Sunday for control of a string of villages near the Lebanon-Syria border.

In a statement published on Sunday, the Syrian National Coalition warned that Hezbollah involvement in Syria could lead to greater risks in the area, and urged the Lebanese government to “adopt the necessary measures to stop the aggression of Hezbollah.”
