The EU placed 18 companies and institutions and 1 person on the terrorist list

With the new sanctions, 490 companies, institutions and entities of the Iranian regime and 150 people are now on the EU’s terrorist list

The EU released the names of one individual and 18 company, institutions and entities that were newly sanctioned in its official journal.

The individual who was placed on the sanction list is named Babak Zanjani. He is the manager of Dubay-based Surynt incorporation. Zanjani who works in circumventing sanction sector is involved in the transfer of export oil money by the subset companies under his management and help the sanctioned companies to circumvent the EU’s sanctions.

The names of sanctioned company and institutions are: National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, National Iranian Oil Pipeline Company, National Iranian Engineering and Utilities Company, Qolfisazan Inc., Iran-Aluminum Company, Symatech Development Company, Aluminat Company, Defence Initiative and Research Organization, Islamic Investment Bank, Saif Oil International Company, Surynt Commercial Trust, Hong Kong Intertride Company, Petro Swiss Company, CF Sharp Company, Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, and Teachers Insurance.
