Jalal Mahmudzadeh added: “Considering the large number of public and private universities in the country and lack of job creating factories, given the increase of the population of young people who are looking for jobs and employment, and given less investments in the poor areas, unfortunately, there is no family in Iran without an educated but unemployed member.”
He said: “Unfortunately, in public statistics, they do not include seasonal workers and hidden unemployment figures… According to the announced statistics by relevant government agencies, every year, about 1.6 million people are added to this army of unemployed.”
