Regime’s head of chamber of commerce: economic problems not due to sanctions which have just 20% to 25% effect

NCRI – The policies of the religious fascism ruling Iran keep destroying Iran’s economy with every passing day with unemployment, poverty and inflation indexes increasing. Mohsen Jalalpour, the head of the Iranian regime’s chamber of commerce in industry, mines and agriculture, on August 14 stated: “Of the 82000 small and big industrial units, 14000 have closed down, 22000 are only partially active, and 14000 are working at 70% capacity.” In another acknowledgement he blamed the economic stagnation on the regime’s policies and said: “Sanctions have only affected the country’s economy by 20 to 25 percent and everyone ought to know that the present economic problems of the country were not created by sanctions. Therefore, not everything will turn good with the removal of the sanctions.”

Abdolreza Mesri, the representative from Kermanshah in the regime’s parliament, on August 16 said: “Where is the hope for the young men who went to school for 20 years and served in the armed forces? How long should they wait to get a job to have the minimums in their lives? Our youth are withering like flowers during their youth.”And Mohammad Alikhani, the representative from Qazvin in the regime’s parliament, on August 19 said: “Today, the most pressing issue of the youth in Qazvin Province is to have a job.”

On the one hand Rouhani’s government blames the government it replaced for the unemployment crisis, but on the other hand the state-run Tasnim News Agency posted shocking statistics on August 12 on unemployment in the country for the population between 15 to 24 years of age to prove that unemployment has skyrocketed in 2014 during the time that Rouhani’s government had been responsible for planning and policy-making. Tasnim states that in most provinces unemployment has reached over 40%, while in some provinces such as Ilam, Char Mahal Bakhtiari, Fars, Lorestan and Hormozgan that number hits 86, 80, 70, 81 and 73 percents respectively.

However, aside from the internal schism of the regime’s factions, the record unemployment, inflation and poverty are caused by the medieval regime of velayat-e faqih that spends Iran’s national wealth on its repressive and terrorist organs, on acquiring the nuclear bomb, or otherwise this wealth is plundered by the regime’s corrupt and criminal leaders and their families and affiliates.

The sole solution to salvaging Iran’s economy from utter destruction and to end poverty, unemployment and inflation, is to topple the decadent velayat-e faqih regime, all of the factions of which have a hand in corruption, plunder of people’s wealth, and destruction of Iran’s economy, as well as in suppression and terrorism.
