NCRI – he state-run Sharq newspaper on December 24 exposed a corner of the Iranian regime’s corruption and plundering during factional feuding over the issue of contract with South Korea for building 10 ships.

The newspaper first quotes the commander of the IRGC”s so-called Khatam Headquarters as saying “Those who ignore domestic abilities are traitors” and “We are ready to implement the contract to build 10 ships in our country by forming a consortium of local companies such as Sadra and ISOICO as EPCF (Design and Engineering, Supply, Construction and Financing), by 85% financing and 15% of the gentlemen’s share.”
The newspaper then writes, “When we look at the background of Sadra Company, the issue becomes interesting.”

“In an interview with then CEO of Tehran Oil Manufacturing Support and Procurement of Goods Company, Sharq (newspaper) exposed a contract signed in 2010 between this company as the representative of the National Iranian Oil Company and Sadra Company as the subsidiary of IRGC’s Khatam Headquarters to build two Offshore Masts. Following the contract and a payment of 17.6 million euro upfront, Sadra Company pledged to build the masts and deliver them to the National Iranian Oil Company. A commitment that was never fulfilled and Sadra refused to return the pre-payment,” the newspaper continues.
