The Iranian regime increases the price of electricity by 25 percent, Iranian regime’s energy minister said, state-run media reported.
Hamid Chitchian was quoted as saying the new price will be applied from next month.
It has been a while that the Iranian regime has planned to increase the price of electricity as officials claim that electricity production in the country costs three times more than the price the consumers are being charged for.
Some analysts in the country have warned about the rise of in energy prices and decribed as “dangerous” with possible social implications.
