International sanctions put a damper on regime oil sales

NCRI – The Iranian regime is storing over 20 million oil barrels on board tankers floating in the Persian Gulf in the absence of interested buyers, two oil industry publications reported on Friday.

According to MEES and Plats publications, the regime recently added 4 million barrels to the 16 million that had already remained unsold.

The reports say that a combination of high oil prices and international sanctions against the mullahs’ nuclear weapons program has limited the Iranian regime’s ability to sell oil and unburden its storage.
