NCRI – Four months after implementing the anti-people policy of elimination of subsidies, government-run media report a 70% hike in the price of foodstuff and associated items.
“The price hike of the dairies and ice cream by 30 to 70 percent and the published news about discontinuation of subsidized milk by the end of summer has increased families’ anxieties about the mind-boggling and back-breaking cost of foodstuff,” state-run Asre-Iran wrote on May 21.
