The spokesperson of the Iraqi Human Rights Ministry told WAF that: In case of compulsory expulsion of PMOI members from Camp Ashraf, we will be with them.
The Iraqi Human Rights Ministry considered pressuring PMOI for forceful expulsion from Iraq to be unlikely. PMOI is stationed in the Dyala Province using an area known as “Camp Ashraf”.
Kamil Amin, the spokesman for the Human Rights Ministry told WAF: If actions are taken for their compulsory expulsion from Iraq, the Human Rights Ministry will stand with them. Amin said that in his opinion “after determination of another location for them, the Iraqi government will have a dialogue with this organization in order to reach a formula for their departure from the Iraqi soil.”
