PMOI case may be reviewed in Iraqi Parliament .. former deputy PM

Former Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Adel Barwari announced political factions and commissions in the Iraqi Parliament will discuss resolving the issue of the People’s Mojahedin through dialogue, saying it is probable this issue will soon be raised in the Parliament, the Iraq-4-All website reported.

“This is the duty of the Parliament, and especially the Human Rights and Foreign Affairs Commissions, to discuss the case of PMOI members through a humanitarian perspective,” he said in an exclusive interview.
“The Parliament’s Human Rights Commission will probably have a positive role in this case,” he predicted.
“The Parliament will look into this issue to reach a real solution between the political factions,”
