Iraqi parliamentary blocks: Friday’s attack violates international law and Iraqi traditions

NCRI – The National Dialogue parliamentary group in Iraq, led by Salih Mutlak, asked the United Nations and the Security Council to take immediate actions in order to protect members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Camp Ashraf, Kurdistan Aka News, April 11.

Ibrahim Mutlak, a leader of National Dialogue, said he views the military actions of the Iraqi government at Camp Ashraf with concern. He added: The al-Iraqia parliamentary block believes that this military action violated the international human rights laws and principles which stand for protection of unarmed refugees.

These military actions were also against all humanitarian principles and popular customs and traditions that require respect toward your guests and preventing any transgressions against them.
