Iranians worldwide protest call to free seven Camp Asharf hostages

20140119oslo1-200Iranians continue their months long campaign calling for protection of Iranian political refugees in Iraq and freedom of seven Camp Ashraf residents taken hostage by Iraqi forces.

On September 1, 2013, the Iraqi forces under the command of Nouri al-Maliki attack Camp Ashraf and killed 52 members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and abducted seven residents.

The protests held on Saturday in the U.S., Canada, Netherlands, Norway, Swiss, Denmark, Sweden, Austria and France.

The protesters condemned the latest rocket attack against Camp Liberty (Iraq) that houses some 3,000 members of the PMOI (MEK).

The December 26 missile attack on Camp Liberty killed four residents and injured tens of the residents.
