Iran-Terrorism-Deputy Foreign Minister of mullahs prepares for further massacres in Camp Liberty

A statement issued by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), the main democratic opposition to the mullahs in Iran, announced that In the ludicrous show held by Iraq’s Maliki in Baghdad on March 12, titled Conference on Combating Terrorism, Morteza Sarmadi, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the clerical regime used the occasion to pave the way for further criminal attacks against the PMOI/MEK members in Camp Liberty.

NCRI statement said “This conference was held by government of Iraq at a time when the international community is learning more every day that Maliki and his government are themselves the source of many terrorist atrocities.”

Mullahs’ Deputy Foreign Minister implicitly threatened the PMOI with terrorist operations and tried to describe it as the consequence of PMOI’s own policies.

Regime’s deputy Foreign Minister Referring to PMOI’s call for a regime change in Iran as act of terrorism, had said that PMOI “underscores the need for protection of its people, but at the same time it stresses on continuing its terrorist methods; a matter that creates problems for their safety and security”.

NCRI’s statement reiterates that these statements plainly pave the way for the mullahs’ regime and its subordinate government in Iraq to carry out another massacre in Camp Liberty; especially that concurrent with this charade, the Government of Iraq has sharply ratcheted up suppressive measures and the anti-human siege against Camp Liberty.

“Warning of the ominous intentions of the Iranian regime and the government of Iraq against Camp Liberty residents and reminding the repeated and written commitments by the United Nations and the U.S. government regarding the safety and security of the residents, the Iranian Resistance calls for the realization of the following four points by the United States and the UN Security Council. These essential measures were sent off to the U.S. and UN officials on March 4 by Mr. Struan Stevenson, European Parliament’s President of the Delegation for Relations with Iraq:

• Relocation of all the residents, albeit temporarily, to the United States or Europe;

• Providing urgent security provisions to Camp Liberty against rocket attacks, such as the return of T-walls, transferring bunkers, transferring protective helmets and vests and medical equipment from Ashraf, permission for construction, and expansion of the camp’s area;

• Permanent presence of UN monitors along with a Blue Helmet team inside Camp Liberty;

• Investigation over the massacre of 1 September 2013 by the United Nations.

Prior to this on March 9, the criminal Mullah Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi, Justice Minister of the clerical regime, hideously demanded the extradition of PMOI members stationed in Camp Liberty to the murderers ruling Iran. He said: “The handover of PMOI members to Iran does not need a request, but if the Iraqi Justice Minister has made such a suggestion, we will again lodge an official request to turn them over to our tribunals. These individuals are criminals and guilty and they must be handed over to our courts so that we would deal with their offenses and this matter does not need a special request by us … these PMOI members should be dealt their punishment.” (Fars news agency affiliated with the IRGC)
