Iran regime’s meddling in Iraq condemned by opponents


NCRI – Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance held demonstrations and rallies in protest against mullahs’ meddling in Iraq. The protestors condemned the clerical regime’s conspiracies against Camp Ashraf in Iraq, where members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, the main opposition to the fundamentalist regime, reside.
The participants were particularly concerned over the discovery of a torture centers in Iraq run by agents of the Iranian regime. Deomonstrators also demanded the immediate release of two abducted members of the PMOI, Messrs Hossein Pouyan and Mohammad-Ali Zahedi, kidnapped last August by Iranian agents operating under the cover of the Iraqi Interior Ministry’s Special Forces.
Supporters of the Iranian Resistance expressed particular concerns over the plans by the clerical regime to manipulate the results of the upcoming elections in Iraq.
Demonstrations were organized in the U.S., Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway  and Australia and is spreading to other countries.
