NCRI – Ms. Intisar Allawi, a member of Iraqi Parliament from the al-Iraqia coalition called for a halt to the inhumane attacks against Camp Ashraf residents and said: “The United Nations is directly responsible for protection of Ashraf residents.”, Malaf website reported on May 11.
Ms. Allawi added: “For the duration of its stay in Iraq, this organization [PMOI] has respected international laws… Mojahedin’s positive past, encourages the UN to work hard to carry out its responsibilities vis-à-vis this organization. PMOI is far from terrorism because it respects the international laws and traditions and has proven this in the past years.”
Condemning Iranian Foreign Minister Salehi’s visit to Iraq, Ms. Allawi said: “Iranian regime’s meddling in the Iraqi affaires is obvious and these visits confirm that reality.”
