NCRI – The chairman of the legal committee of the al-Iraqiya list, which won the parliamentary elections in March, has said that despite international condemnations, the forces of incumbent Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki continue to enact illegal measures against Camp Ashraf at the behest of the Iranian regime.

Vakil Akram al-Naqib told the Iraqi news agency in an interview that, “Everyone except the list of al-Maliki welcomed Saudi Arabia’s initiative for expediting the creation of a new government. The reason for their reluctance was the pressures and instructions they received from the Iranian regime.”

“Despite all international condemnations and demands, Maliki has not ceased his illegal and inhumane measures against the residents of Ashraf,” she said.

Al-Naqib added, “The security organs, where the Iranian regime has established influence, are carrying out such acts on a regular basis. In this regard, the WikiLeaks files revealed the role of the Iranian regime and its agents in Iraqi government and their commission of inhumane actions.”
