NCRI – A senior figure in the al-Iraqiya political bloc has criticized the Iranian regime for smuggling a truck full of explosives to Iraq.
In an interview with the Iraqi news agency on Wednesday, Alieh Nasif Jasem said, “The denials by the Iranian regime’s embassy with respect to smuggling these explosives into Basra city are unacceptable.”
Nasif added, “The Iraqi side is trying to prevent the raising of questions about this scandal in order to hide it.”
But, he said, the Iranian regime’s meddling poses a danger for all Iraqis without exception.
“The meddling must be stopped because it has increased in recent days, directly impacting our national security,” Mr. Nasif said.
