Ahmad al-Massari: European Parliament’s plan for resolution of Camp Ashraf issue “positive and reasonable”

NCRI –  Ahmad al-Massari, a member of Iraqi Parliament from al-Iraqia Coalition, described European Parliament’s initiative for resolution of Camp Ashraf issue as positive and reasonable, Baghdad TV reported on June 2.

At its Strasbourg headquarters, the European Parliament’s delegation that recently visited Iraq, announced a plan which calls for a peaceful and permanent resolution of Camp Ashraf issue in Iraq.

“The most important points of this plan include withdrawal of Iraqi military forces from the camp, lifting of its blockade, allowing the wounded and the ill to gain access to medical services, carrying out an international and independent investigation of April 8 events, and guaranteeing protection of camp’s residents by the United Nations and the U.S.,” Baghdad TV reported.
