Tehran – Today, July 29, customers of the state-backed Modiran Vehicle Manufacturing Company rallied in front of the company’s office in Tehran, protesting against unjust and illegal price increases by the company. Chanting slogans and holding placards, the protesters demanded fair pricing and transparency in the company’s practices.
Urmia – Retirees and pensioners of the Telecommunications Company of Iran (TCI) gathered in front of the TCI office to protest against low pensions and poor living conditions. Similar protests were held across the country, reflecting widespread dissatisfaction with the government’s handling of pension reforms.
Isfahan – Retirees and pensioners of the TCI rallied to voice their frustration over inadequate pensions and declining living standards. The protesters chanted, “Neither the Majlis [the parliament] nor the government cares about the people,” highlighting their disillusionment with both legislative and executive branches.
Sanandaj – In Sanandaj, western Iran, retirees and pensioners of the TCI held a protest rally demanding better pensions and improved living conditions. The demonstrators called on the government to address their long-standing grievances.

Kermanshah – Retirees from various sectors gathered in Kermanshah, reiterating their demands for higher pensions and basic needs. The protesters expressed their frustration with the government’s neglect of their economic plight.
Tabriz – Retired employees of the TCI in Tabriz held a protest rally in front of the provincial TCI office, demanding higher pensions and other basic necessities. The regime’s continued disregard for their demands fueled the demonstrators’ anger.
Shadegan – Workers of Shadgan Steel, who recently lost their jobs due to the suspension of the second phase of Shadgan Steel, held a protest rally in front of the company’s headquarters. The workers demanded job security and compensation for their sudden unemployment.
Also today, residents of Fajr Town in Lordegan clashed with security forces over water shortages and the resultant hardships during the summer heat. Farmers in Isfahan also protested fuel shortages by staging a sit-in at Khurasgan Square, accompanied by their tractors.

Political prisoners at Evin Prison, including numerous women, initiated a sit-in protest on Saturday evening, July 27, against execution orders, including the execution of political prisoner Pakhshan Azizi. Chanting slogans such as “Death to the executioner” and “No to executions,” the prisoners vowed to continue their protest until the death sentences were revoked.
On the same day, municipal workers in Neyshabour and official workers of the Oil and Gas Company in Asaluyeh held protests over unpaid wages. Victims of financial fraud by Taravat Novin Automobile Company also demonstrated in Takestan, protesting the misappropriation of their investments.
Meanwhile, a Kurdish kulbar (freight carrier) was shot dead by the border guards on the border of Nowsud, and a 14-year-old Baluch kulbar succumbed to injuries inflicted by the guards in Saravan.
