NCRI – The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the arbitrary criminal bombings on Friday and the killing of defenseless civilians in Baghdad and extends its condolences to the relatives of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery for the injured. It calls for an international investigation into this inhumane disasters. Any impartial investigation would expose the role of the religious fascism ruling Iran and its Iraqi agents.
These explosions which have continued in recent weeks are part of a plot by the mullahs’ regime to compensate for its defeat in the Iraqi elections and to neutralize the victory of the alternative nationalist and democratic forces. The mullahs are attempting to create insecurity in order to prevent the will of the Iraqi people for the formation of a nationalist and non-sectarian government from materializing and to impose instead their proxies in the country’s key posts.
The Iranian Resistance previously announced that according to reliable information and evidence from within the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards Corps and its terrorist Quds Force, the regime is the main instigator of the explosions in Iraq; nonetheless, the al-Maliki administration attempts to divert attentions from this main source of terrorism and insecurity.
Iraq, with a government that most of its security, administrative and political apparatus are under the control of the mullahs’ regime, would never be secure and stable. Some 5.2 million Iraqi people and 3 million Iraqi Shiites announced in June 2006 and 2008 respectively that the only solution for achieving security and stability is to evict the Iranian regime from their country.
