Quds commander to address Iranian regime’s Council of Experts on regime’s regional influence

NCRI – The Revolutionary Guards Quds Force Commander General Ghasem Suleimani is to address the Iranian regime’s Council of Experts next month on the state of the regime’s influence in the region.

Suleimani will speak to the Council regarding ‘the world of Islam and matters in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and other Islamic countries’, Council member Seyed Ahmad Khatami said.

The Council of Experts session is scheduled for September 3 and 4 in Tehran, one of the twice yearly meetings of the mullahs most loyal to supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

The council’s current head is Mahdavi Kani, who took over in March 2011 from former president Hashemi Rafsanjani.

Suleimani is the commander of the terrorist Quds Force, the mullahs’ main arm of warmongering and the export terrorism in the region, especially in Syria and Iraq.
