NCRI – The Iranian Resistance condemns terrorist attack on buses carrying Iranian pilgrims in Iraq’s Diyala province yesterday which left dozens killed or wounded. It also expresses condolences to people of Iran, particularly the bereaved families, and wishes rapid recovery for the wounded.
Immediately after the horrific attack, the state-run media in Iran forged a report attributing the crime to the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI). Quoting a bogus source as “local witnesses present on the scene of explosion,” the regime’s media reported, “It was not unlikely that ‘the main conspirator for the bombing’ were members of the PMOI.” (Mehr state news agency, April 24) This clearly unveils the role of the clerical regime in this inhuman crime. This is not the first time that the regime attributes its inhuman crimes to the Iranian Resistance.
The religious dictatorship ruling Iran which exports terrorism and fundamentalism under the banner of Islam, and spreads war to the entire Middle East region from Iraq to Afghanistan, Lebanon, Palestine and Yemen, is the only party benefitting from these kinds of blind violence.
