Iranian Resistance condemns attacks on diplomatic representations of Arab countries

Attacks on diplomatic representations of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan
is condemned by the Iranian Resistance and it urges Arab states to cut ties with mullahs' regime

NCRI – The Iranian Resistance condemns the coordinated attacks by mercenaries of the mullahs’ regime on embassies, consulates and interest sections of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan in Tehran and Mashhad and the setting on fire of these countries’ flags. It urges Arab and Islamic states to shut down their diplomatic representations in Iran and adopt a firm policy against this anti-Islamic pariah regime to prevent it from pursuing its fundamentalist and aggressive policies through fear, intimidation and threats.

The regime is attempting shamelessly to take advantage of the current crisis in Palestine, which it itself in large part helped instigate, to cover up its own aggressive meddling in the Middle East, in particular in Palestine.

It is once again falsely claiming that the latest attacks were spontaneous acts by ordinary people or students; however, in reality these attacks had been planned at the highest levels of the regime’s leadership and personally approved by the mullahs’ Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The attacks have been met with public disapproval in Iran.

Statements released by the attackers, which have been prepared by the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and the terrorist Revolutionary Guards Qods Force, threatened a repeat of the 1979 U.S. embassy siege this time against Arab countries unless they give in to the regime’s demands. Members of the regime’s paramilitary Bassij force, who called the latest attacks “only a warning call”, announced that they have the “capability to occupy the embassies of all [Arab countries] and, unless these countries end their defeatist and colonial policies, they are prepared to create another ‘13 Aban’,” a pseudonym for the U.S. hostage crisis.

The Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Brig. Gen. Mohammad-Ali Jaafari, on December 25 told Bassijis at a university: “We want to pave the way for the student Bassijis to be able to carry out another 13 Aban if need be.” His remarks clearly indicate that the conflict in Gaza and its consequences have been masterminded by the leaders of the regime.

Facing fierce resentment and isolation at home, the mullahs’ regime believes that it can prolong its rule by exporting terror and fundamentalism abroad, taking advantage of the situation in Palestine and dominating the region. The regime has been the main obstacle to the goals and legitimate demands of the Palestinian people over the past three decades.

The Iranian Resistance urges all regional governments, political parties, as well as political, cultural and religious figures to create a united front against fundamentalism and evict the mullahs’ regime in particular from Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq.
