Assault on Resistance Artist Ms. Gisoo Shakeri’s Vehicle by Agents of the Clerical Regime’s Intelligence Service
On July 9, 2024, operatives and mercenaries affiliated with the intelligence apparatus of Iran’s theocratic regime perpetrated a cowardly and criminal act against Ms. Gisoo Shakeri, a prominent Resistance artist. These individuals deliberately damaged Ms. Shakeri’s vehicle by shattering its windows. It is noteworthy that Ms. Shakeri had previously been subjected to intimidation through threatening correspondence from these same operatives.
The recent extradition of Hamid Noury to the Iranian regime has emboldened the religious dictatorship ruling Iran to intensify its aggression towards refugees, Resistance members, and their supporters in Sweden, something that the crisis-ridden mullahs’ regime needs more than ever.
The Iranian Resistance, while condemning this cowardly attack and emphasizing that the responsibility for protecting Ms. Shakeri lies with the Swedish government, calls on the Swedish government, judicial authorities, and police to identify and punish the perpetrators and instigators of these criminal acts and inform the public. Agents and mercenaries of the regime’s intelligence service and the Revolutionary Guards should be expelled from this country.
