Iran : Mullahs’ president blackmails international community

ImageNCRI – During a stage-show gathering on Friday, the president of the mullahs’ regime Mahmoud Ahmadinejad threatened and blackmailed European states. He said, “We have advised the Europeans that the Americans are far away, but you are the neighbors of the nations in this region. We inform you that the nations are like an ocean that is welling up, and if a storm begins, the dimensions will not stay limited to Palestine, and you may get hurt.”

Regarding the regime’s nuclear dossier, Ahmadinejad said that the West “was even willing for us to suspend (uranium enrichment) in order to save face; however, we know this to be a disgrace.” Thus, the mullahs’ president acknowledged the reality that despite EU states’ unacceptable concessions, the religious fascism ruling Iran is not able to accept the demands of the international community as it would lead to the demise of the regime. He bluntly said, “If the major powers are worried of nuclear proliferation, they should first of all begin with themselves. … Why should they give us nuclear fuel? … I told them they should suspend their work and in five years we would sell them nuclear fuel at a 50 percent discount.”

NCRI Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin said in this regard that Ahmadinejad’s remarks indicated that the mullahs’ regime was very susceptible to comprehensive sanctions and was trying to delay a decisive policy by the international community through its blackmail. He stated, the time has come for the United Nations Security Council to ignore the mullahs’ blackmail and threats and instead impose diplomatic, arms, technologic and oil sanctions against the regime in order to create a major impediment for it to obtain nuclear weapons and export terrorism and fundamentalism.
