Iran Mullahs’ new ploy to buy time to complete nuclear projects

NCRI, August 26 – According to news agencies, after meeting Dr. Mohammad ElBaradei, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, this morning, Brig. Gen. Ali Larijani, new Supreme National Security Council secretary and in charge of Iran’s nuclear file, sought an expansion of negotiations with other members of the IAEA. He said that the clerical regime would offer a new plan concerning its nuclear programs to the European Union in one month.

Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, described the new proposal by Tehran as a transparent ploy to deceive the international community and buy time to complete its nuclear projects. He added that in this way the clerical regime was trying to prevent or delay the referral of its nuclear file to the United Nations Security Council.

"The only effective way to prevent the world’s only terror sponsoring regime from obtaining the world’s most dangerous weapons is to refer Tehran’s nuclear file to the Security Council for the adoption of binding sanctions," he said, adding, "The Tehran regime has mobilized all its resources to complete its nuclear projects in Arak, Isfahan, Natanz and other sites by taking advantage of the opportunities these maneuvers provide."
