In an inhumane move, Iraqi forces, upon the orders of Sadeq Mohammad Kazem, prevented entry of prosthesis specialist to Liberty on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. The specialist had gone to Liberty according to previous agreement to provide services to injured residents. Thereby, the injured and handicapped were deprived once again of receiving highly necessary services.
At the same time, Iraqi forces prevented entry of bicycles and tricycles that residents had bought to be used by the handicapped.
Under harsh living conditions in Camp Liberty where movements on gravel covered ground is intolerable for paraplegic patients, the Government of Iraq is torturing Liberty residents physically and psychologically by imposing such inhuman and criminal restrictions on them.
In yet another inhuman move on Thursday, November 1, Iraqi forces prevented entry of the truck carrying food stuff and vegetables. Since the vehicle had been stopped at Liberty entrance for many hours, much of food stuff got rotten.
