Iranian regime’s Foreign Minister must be expelled from the UN

UN is not a place for terrorists, murderers and those who manufacture nuclear bomb

NCRI – The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the lift of travel ban on Ali Akbar Salehi, Iranian regime’s Foreign Minister, and his participation in the session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, and considers it as violation of all values that the United Nations was established upon.

Ali Akbar Salehi was placed in the list of sanctions of the UN and the EU for his direct participation in advancing Iranian regime’s projects for acquiring nuclear weapon.

The Iranian regime receives a message of weakness from the violation of Security Council resolutions and will speed up its project for achieving atom bomb. As the regime’s state-run media have written in this regard: “One of the important aspects of the visit to Geneva by our country’s foreign minister is that it revealed how discredited are the EU resolutions and sanctions placed on a number of senior officials to visit Europe, including our country’s former head of the Atomic Energy Organization.” (Khabar online website, February 24, 2011)

While the waves of change have shaken the pillars of autocratic rulers, and the brave Iranian people, who have taken to the streets chanting “Down with Khamenei” to completely overthrow the velayat-e faqih establishment, are beaten and gunned down in cold blood, the shameful measure of accepting the despised and faltering regime’s representative in this summit is a grave insult to the Iranian people and is a violation of human rights principles.
