The religious dictatorship ruling Iran continued its complaint for the sixth consecutive day on July 17, regarding the presence of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Italian Parliament, as well as the support of Italian representatives and senators and the majority of both houses of the Italian Parliament for the Ten-Point Plan for Iran’s future.

Naser Kanaani, the spokesperson of the regime’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighted the support of “a significant number of Italian parliamentarians” for the hosting of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi by the Commission on Foreign Relations of the Italian Parliament and stated, “The official action taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran in this regard has been serious and immediate. Hosting the MEK at any level by any party or any government is indefensible and unjustifiable.”

Prior to this, on July 12, the regime’s embassy in Italy, in its statement, and the Deputy Foreign Minister of the regime during the summons of the Italian ambassador in Tehran, as well as the regime’s parliament members and media, had repeated the same absurd words, which were met with a response from the Italian Foreign Minister, who stated, “We are in a democracy, and anyone does whatever they see fit without violating international or national laws, and no violation has occurred in this matter.”

Kanaani, speaking on behalf of the main architect and the primary sponsor of international terrorism, with a record of executions and torture worldwide, added, “Hosting the leaders and members of the MEK in any capacity and by any country in any form is a clear manifestation of supporting terrorism, instigating terrorism, and encouraging terrorism. It stands in complete and apparent contradiction with the international responsibilities of governments in combating terrorism, particularly with slogans of human rights and human rights claims of these governments, including European governments.”

Amir-Abdollahian‘s spokesman, a member of the Quds Force now appearing in the attire of a diplomat, said, “The regime will utilize all available capacities in the political, diplomatic, legal, and international police realms for the legal pursuit of members and leaders of the MEK.” He admitted that “unfortunately, many governments… have not fulfilled their responsibilities in this regard,” emphasizing that no one holds any political or legal value for the lies and deceit of this regime against the MEK, and the regime’s only field of maneuver is dirty dealings and dirty collusions.

Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Foreign Minister of Hassan Rouhani, admitted in March 2021, “Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs has dealt with security issues since its inception, and the assigned agenda for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been a political-security agenda from the beginning of the revolution.”

The Iranian Resistance, as it has repeatedly stated, invites Khamenei, Raisi, and other leaders of the mullahs’ regime to international courts to present all their lawsuits, documents, and evidence against the MEK and Iranian Resistance. A large number of witnesses and undeniable evidence of the Iranian Resistance regarding the commission of crimes against humanity, genocide, and war crimes by Khamenei, Raisi, Eje’i, and other regime leaders and commanders of the IRGC are ready for this trial.
