The decision for this absurd diplomatic stage-managed show was made in a session of the mullahs’ regime’s Supreme National Security Council on Saturday, December 25 at the same time that the decision for execution of Ali Sarami was made. In this session, representatives of regime’s various agencies, including the Judiciary, Foreign Ministry, and Ministry of Intelligence were present. In order to “reduce the international cost of the execution”, they decided to take advantage of the Christmas holidays and the Foreign Ministry was assigned to take preemptive measure through summoning a number of ambassadors to warn against “their support for terrorism”! Iranian regime’s Supreme National Security Council is headed by Ahmadinejad and functions under supervision of Khamenei himself, the Supreme Leader of the regime.
The Iranian Resistance once again calls on the UN Security Council, the United Nations Secretary General, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and other United Nations bodies, in addition to the European Union, the United States, and other governments to immediately condemn the execution of Ali Sarami and to adopt urgent measures against the clerical regime for its increasing violation of human rights in Iran. The Iranian Resistance emphasizes that the silence of international community in face of crimes of the mullahs’ regime, especially the execution of political prisoners, and a lack of proper action by the international community will not only embolden this regime to go on torturing and executing prisoners and kill people, but shall also result in more aggressive approach against the international community.
