Uprising all Over Iran – Day 49

On the 49th day of Iran’s nationwide uprising, large-scale demonstrations were held in various cities to commemorate the martyrs on November 3. After dark, people in Tehran, Shiraz, Fasa, Babol, Anzali, Lahijan, Tabriz, Urmia, Sanandaj, Kermanshah, Kamiyaran, Qasr Shirin, Marivan, Saqqez, Baneh, Bijar, Dehlran, Takestan, and several other cities protested and clashed with the regime’s suppressive forces. They blocked the roads by lighting fire and chanting slogans, “Death to the dictator,” “Death to Khamenei,” “All these years of crime, death to this velayat, (Khamenei),” “Mullahs must get lost,” and “Khamenei, shame on you, let go of the country.”

Residents of Tehran in Enghelab Ave., Aryashahr, Ekbatan Tehranpars, Bagheri freeway, Haft Hoz Narmak, Alvand, Parand, Saadat Abad, Mulla Sadra, Khazane Bukharai, Naziabad, Baqer Shahr, Sadeghieh, Ferdous Boulevard, Andisheh Phase 1 settlement in Shahryar and other locations held night demonstrations. In Naziabad and Kashani Blvd, suppressive forces opened fire at the people, as a result of which a two-year-old child was injured. Youths set fire to a large poster of Qassem Soleimani in Alvand district. Night demonstrations and clashes took place on Ferdowsi Blvd.

Residents of Rasht staged a night demonstration chanting, “This year is the year of sacrifice; Seyed Ali (Khamenei) will be overthrown.” In Shiraz, protesters chanted, “We swear on the blood of those fallen that we will continue this path to the end!”. Locals in Zand and Darvazeh Kazeroon areas clashed with special forces and punished them. In Tabriz, rebellious youths clashed with repressive forces in Saat square and made them flee. In Dehloran, families of those arrested in the uprising gathered outside the police station and clashed with the regime’s criminal agents. In Baneh (Kurdistan province), people blocked the streets by lighting fires. In Lahijan (northern Iran), protests led to clashes with the regime’s security forces. The suppressive forces fired tear gas at the people. The cities of Sanandaj, Kamiyaran, Saqez, Marivan, and Bukan were the scenes of protests, lighting fires, blocking roads, and clashes with suppressive forces. In Mashhad, locals started their protest from Vakil Abad Blvd., which turned into clashes in several other areas.

On Thursday morning, students at the universities of Art and Architecture of Pars in Tehran, Azad in Arak, Azad in Karaj, Noshirvani in Babol, Azad in Marivan, Azad in Saqez and several others staged sit-in protest and chanted, “Death to the dictator,” “Students die, but they do not accept humiliation.” Students in Quds city boycotted classes. Karaj Azad University students chanted, “Basiji say bye, bye to Iran’s soil.” High school students protested in Shahryar, Fardis Karaj, Marivan, and Naziabad in Tehran, chanting, “Freedom, Freedom, Freedom,” and addressing the regime’s agents by chanting, “You are lewd, I am a noblewoman.”
