Thousands of thugs deployed by clerical regime to attack Tehran University students

NCRI – Iranian regime’s agents including Bassijis and hireling thugs surrounded Tehran University’s Technical School and attacked students on Tuesday. Students chained their arms and chanted anti-regime slogans to defend themselves against attackers armed with electric batons, machete and clubs.

Students chanted: “We are Sohrab, we are Neda, we are all one Voice,” “Khamenei shame on you, leave the monarchic rule,” “The dictator should know, his time is up,” “Down with oppressor, being the Shah or Leader (Khamenei),” “Students are in jail, thugs are unleashed,” “Ahmadi (Ahmadinejad) has come short, forced to bring in Shabaan the brainless (the thug who lead suppression of anti-shah protesters),” “Victory is close, down with deceitful government,” “Government of coup d’état resign, resign,” and “Mercenary get lost.”

Students from other schools within Tehran University abandoned their lessons and rushed to back up their fellow students in the Technical School while they were chanting “Freedom, freedom.”

Fars state-run news agency affiliated to the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guard Corps reported the attack on Tehran University on Tuesday and admitted that in the attack 5,000 agents of the regime were involved.

To suppress the uprising on Students Day, the regime brought in thousands of Bassijis and thugs from villages around Tehran especially from Qarchak and Varamin by paying them large sums of money. They were used in the attacks on Monday, the Students Day, and on Tuesday.
