Tehran: Hundreds of protesters in Tehran and other cities wounded

 Nationwide uprising – Ashura 19

NCRI – Hundreds of protesters in Tehran and other cities wounded or beaten in anti-regime demonstrations. Dozens of wounded are in Tehran hospitals. To avoid being arrested, most of wounded leave the hospitals immediately after receiving first aid treatments. Tehran residents take the wounded to their houses for treatment.

In Azadi Street one protester was wounded on his foot. In Behboudi Street, four were wounded, three of them women. They had injuries on their eyes, heads and legs. In Keshavarz Boulevard, ten have been injured. In Northern Saadi Street, four were injured on their hands and legs. In Kallege intersection several people were wounded when Bassij forces opened fire on them.

The Plainclothes and intelligence agents of the regime are trying to arrest the wounded. Doctors and nurses refuse to cooperate with the suppressive forces or give them information.
