In Shahre-Kord, at 4:00 pm, suppressive forces harassed three young girls who had traveled to Shahre-Kord under the pretext of malveiling in the city centre. People rose up to defend these three girls, and following tear gas and pepper sprays, confronted the forces. Ten people who have been poisoned due to gas were transferred to hospital.
In Karaj Pardis region, at 5:30 pm, the attack of security forces on people turned to confrontation. The sound of exploding grenades and firecrackers was being heard constantly from other areas of Karaj such as Sar Asiab, Andisheh, Malek and Malard. In Shahriar town, following the explosion of firecrackers by the youth, the regime’s agents blacked out the whole town. Then security forces attacked the youth with batons. People turned on automobile headlights and the youth started to fight with the regime’s agents.
In Kermanshah people set garbage bins on fire. Security forces attacked young people who were playing with firecrackers and jumping on fire in Nobahar street. In Zarrin shahr, people clashed with a team of security forces at 6:00 pm.
People and youth in Ilam also started fire festivities by exploding firecrackers in different parts of the city. In Chamran street clashes broke out between the youth and mercenaries who tried to disperse them Agents attacked the people with batons in Nobahar street. Three young men were arrested in Ilam for fire play.
In Ardebil, in fear of burning garbage bins, the regime suppressive forces removed all of the bins from the city.
In Mashad, people set garbage bins in Pirouzi and Nabard streets on fire. The sound of explosions in Pirouzi Boulevard was very loud. Meanwhile special units and plainclothes agents were stationed across the city specially in Ahmad Abad and Taghi Abad, and were confronting any gathering of more than three people. The sound of exploding firecrackers was heard from Azad Shahr intersection and Bagheri town.
People and youth in Esfahan, Abadan, Ahvaz, Shiraz, Ghazvin, Bandar Abbas, Islam Abad, Gilan Gharb, Semnan, Tabriz, Oshnaviyeh, Lavasan,Sari. Rasht. Noushahr. Sanandaj, Saghez and Bookan also celebrated the Fire Festival confronting the mullahs’ regime.
