Severe Clashes in Enghelab Square

NCRI – On the second day of the widespread and courageous uprising of the Iranian people, today people have continued protesting in different parts of Tehran, including Haft-e-Tir square (Rezaii haye shahid) Ferdowsi, Vali Asr junction, and marching towards Enghelab Square.

In Enghelab Square regime agents have attacked the crowd violently. This has been countered by people. Angry crowd are chanting “Down with Dictator” and have clashed with suppressive forces. Protestors have lit fire to counter tear gas used by the security forces.

Two thousand people have gathered In Vali-Asr.
