NCRI – While Iranians throughout the country, in particular the youth, will take part in the demonstrations in protest to killing of two demonstrators by the regime’s suppressive forces on Feb 14, the frantic clerical regime in fear of popular uprising once again ridiculously claimed that “this group (the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran – PMOI/MEK) on the riots of Feb 14 killed two of our countrymen by direct fire and severely wounded another five. It plans to pursue its objective of creating chaos in the country by creating multitudes of victims.”(Fars news agency, Feb 20, 2011)
Fars news agency added “subsequent to failure of American and Israeli scenario last week”, the PMOI intends to pursue “the scenario of small, isolated gatherings but with severe violence and creating multitudes of deaths”.
By resorting to such blatant lies, which shows the regime’s fear from explosion of public fury, the mullahs are setting the stage for firing at the demonstrators and killing them in big numbers.
Mostafa Mohammad Najjar, the Interior Minister warned yesterday that the regime plans to violently suppress the demonstrations today.
