On Saturday afternoon, July 31, 2021, in solidarity with the Khuzestan uprising, a large crowd of the people of Tehran gathered and demonstrated in front of the City’s Theater in Tehran Valiasr Square, chanting, “Iranians die, but will not accept humiliation,” “From Khuzestan to Tehran, unity, unity,” “Compatriots, join us in support,” and “death to the dictator.”

The State Security Force (SSF) used tear gas and opened fire in a bid to disperse the crowd. They beat the demonstrators and attempted to arrest a number of them. The crowd protested with the slogan, “Let them go, shame on you.”

On Friday, July 30, 2021, the people of Tehran, Ahvaz, Shooshtar, Baharestan (Tehran Province), Arak, Dehloran, Hashtgerd, Dezful, and Qazvin took to the streets. They called to overthrow the religious fascism ruling Iran. The protesters chanted, “Tanks, Guns, Khamenei must die,” “The leader (Khamenei) is a shame for us,” “Death to the Supreme Leader for all these years crimes,” “Death to the dictator,” and “Neither Gaza nor Lebanon, I give my life for Iran.”

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), hailed the brave youth who rose up in Tehran, Ahvaz, and other cities of Iran and chanted, “Death to the dictator and death to the principle of Velayat-e Faqih.” She reiterated: The uprising, which started with the cry of the people of Khuzestan demanding water and freedom, will not stop and will continue in the four corners of the country through uprisings. By cutting off the Internet, Khamenei seeks to prevent the people’s cry from reaching the world. But the clerical regime has no way out from its inevitable overthrow.
