Mrs. Rajavi: Bickering over Friday prayers; Khamenei fails to diminish crisis

NCRI – Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, described the increased backbiting over the Friday prayers sermon tomorrow as a deepening of the crisis within the regime and a result of the continued uprising by the people, especially the major upsurge of protests on July 9. She said this shows that the Khamenei and Ahmadinejad camp have failed to contain or diminish the crisis, and that the mullahs’ regime cannot avert its inevitable collapse.

Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, head of the regime’s Assembly of Experts and Expediency Council, will lead the Friday prayers tomorrow. Rival factions within the regime have announced that they would take part at the event to confront each other.
