Mourners in Gohardasht chanted “Down with the principle of velayate faqih”

Antigovernment demonstration of Ashura- no. 8

NCRI – In Gohardasht, west of Tehran, Ashura mourners clashed with suppressive forces while chanting “Down with the principle of velayate faqih (absolute rule of clergy).” The intelligence agents attacked people walked over Khamenei’s picture and arrested a number of young people.

 

In Tabriz, northwest Iran, mourners chanted: “Iran will unite and annihilate dictatorship” and “the blood in our vein is a gift from our people.”

Outside Kaboud Mosque in Tabriz people chanted “we will not surrender in shame” when they were attacked by State Security Force agents and plainclothes agents.
